Under normal circumstances, the vaginal mucosa is pink. If the mucosa turns white, it may be due to the following reasons: 1. Due to individual differences, the thickness of the mucosa varies and there are blood vessels under the mucosa. If the mucosa is relatively thin, it will appear pink during the examination, which is a normal physiological phenomenon due to individual differences. 2. The appearance of white patches in the vagina due to diseases is an abnormal phenomenon, and colposcopy is recommended.
