How to treat constipation in the anus

Constipation blocked in the anus can be treated by using lactulose medication, corkage, and warm soapy water enemas. When the peristaltic function of the intestine is slow, feces will remain in the intestine for a longer period of time and the patient will have difficulty in defecating because the intestine overabsorbs the water in it. Lactulose is a common laxative drug that regulates the biological rhythm of the stomach and intestines, retains water in the intestines, stimulates colon peristalsis, and helps to pass stools. The main ingredient of corkage is sorbitol, which can be injected into the area of the anus when the stool is blocked there. When it comes into contact with the stool, it can soften the stool, make it less dry and stimulate the peristalsis of the intestinal wall, so it can help to expel the stool. You can also use 0.1%-0.2% soapy water for enema treatment to help fecal discharge. When using warm soapy water, note that the water temperature should be controlled at around 40°C as much as possible and the dose of water used can be around 500-800mL.
