What are the causes of vaginal bleeding?

  Vaginal bleeding in women is abnormal except for normal menstrual bleeding which is normal. There are many causes of vaginal bleeding in women, such as endometritis or endometrial cancer, functional uterine bleeding, severe cervical erosion or cervical cancer, pre-eclampsia, trauma, and a host of other causes that may cause vaginal bleeding.  Vaginal bleeding is bleeding that occurs due to changes in the genital organs or the mucous membrane of the vaginal tissues due to various causes. If a woman has endometritis or endometrial cancer, it can lead to irregular vaginal bleeding with some other symptoms such as abdominal pain. Functional uterine bleeding refers to abnormal changes in the function of the uterus, mainly due to the disruption of hormone level secretion. This kind of bleeding will have more blood volume and a bright red color. Women with severe cervical erosion or cancerous cervical lesions may experience contact bleeding during sexual intercourse. The male sexual organ touching the cervical erosion or cancerous lesions may cause bleeding, mostly after sexual intercourse. If a woman has a miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy, vaginal bleeding will be the first to occur, along with other symptoms such as a tightening sensation in the abdomen. Vaginal bleeding may also occur when the vagina itself is torn by a violent impact.  Women who experience vaginal bleeding during non-menstrual periods should pay attention to it and go to the hospital for a checkup to determine the cause of the bleeding and then treat the problem.
