Adrenal metastases appear as bilateral adrenal masses in the form of round, oval or lobulated on imaging, most of the adrenal metastases are originated from lung cancer, PET-CT examination or puncture biopsy is feasible when necessary. Ultrasound, CT and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging): adrenal metastatic tumor is often manifested as bilateral adrenal mass, occasionally unilateral mass, which is round, oval or lobulated, with different sizes, often 2~5cm, or larger. The echogenicity, density or signal intensity of the mass may be homogeneous or heterogeneous, and the mass is homogeneously or heterogeneously enhanced by CT or MRI enhancement. Most adrenal metastases originate from lung cancer, but can also be breast cancer, gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, and melanoma. Patients should undergo imaging of other parts of the body, especially the lungs, and relevant laboratory tests to find the primary malignant tumor, and PET-CT or puncture biopsy is feasible when necessary. Patients with adrenal metastatic tumor should go to the hospital in time to improve the relevant examination and standardize the treatment under the guidance of doctors.
