Interruption of endometrial continuity is a description inside the ultrasound report card, which is caused by considering the patient’s presence of endometrial polyps, partial uterine adhesions, uterine fibroids and other diseases. 1. Endometrial polyp: it is a common uterine pathology of overgrowth of local endometrium, that is to say, the formation of a polypoid tissue in the uterine cavity, endometrium, so when ultrasound examination, it can lead to endometrial continuity disruption phenomenon. 2. Partial uterine adhesion: uterine adhesion is a disease in which the uterine cavity is partially or completely occluded due to damage to the endometrium, which can affect women’s reproductive physiology as well as physical and mental health. Due to partial adhesion, the continuity of the endometrium is interrupted during ultrasound examination. 3. Uterine fibroid: it is a kind of fibroid formed by the proliferation of smooth muscle cells in the uterus. Most patients have no obvious symptoms, but as the fibroid increases in size, it can lead to irregular vaginal bleeding, pain in the lower abdomen, and increase in menstrual flow. Due to the influence of the localized mass, the endometrial ultrasound examination may show a disruption of the continuity of the endometrium. Therefore, when there is a disruption of the endometrial continuity, it is important to go to the hospital for timely consultation and treatment.
