Therefore, complete rest is essential for recovery during the first two to three weeks after surgery, and any physical work should be completely avoided during this period. In rare cases (about 5 per 1,000 or less), vaginal bleeding after surgery is greater than or equal to menstrual flow, in which case, please seek prompt emergency medical attention. 7. Please do not do vaginal douching after surgery, but use warm water to douche the vulva.
