Pepper can dispel dampness, internal decoction can be taken with water, adult dosage of 3~6g/day, external use of the appropriate amount of pepper decoction water can be washed externally.
Peppercorns are warming herbs in traditional Chinese medicine. It is the dried mature pericarp of green peppercorns or peppercorns of the Rutaceae family, also known as Sichuan peppercorns and Sichuan peppercorns. It is pungent, warm in nature, belonging to the spleen, stomach and kidney meridians, and has the effect of warming the middle and relieving pain (relieving pain by warming the spleen and stomach), killing insects and relieving itching.
Pepper decoction can be used internally to warm the middle and dry dampness, dissipate cold and relieve pain, and can be used to treat nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea caused by cold and dampness, as well as to treat abdominal pain caused by worms.
Pepper decoction can be used externally to treat perianal pruritus; to treat vulvar itching caused by women’s damp-heat subluxation (dampness and heat invading the intestines, bladder, pubic area, lower limbs, etc.); and to treat eczema itching caused by cold dampness or dampness-heat.
