The full name of San Jiao Meridian is Hand Shaoyang San Jiao Meridian, which is mainly used for treating diseases of the head and face of the five organs, fever, and pain in the chest and hypochondrium (a collective term for the chest and ribcage area). Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian is one of the twelve meridians and one of the three Yang meridians of the hand, connecting to the hand syncopal pericardium meridian at the ring finger and the foot Shaoyang gallbladder meridian at the outer canthus of the eye. The San Jiao meridian mainly treats diseases of the head and face, such as eye, cheek, ear, head and throat diseases; fever diseases, such as sweating in fever; and other diseases of the meridian circulation areas, such as chest and hypochondrium pain, numbness and contracture of the upper limbs, and pain in the outer part of the shoulder and arm.
