How to determine the hormone 6 test is polycystic

The sex hormone six test can be used to find out if you have polycystic ovary syndrome by the following indicators: i. The ratio of luteinizing hormone to follicle stimulating hormone is suspected of polycystic ovary syndrome if it is greater than two. ii. Androgens are also clinically suspected of polycystic ovary syndrome if they are elevated. The diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome can be made if two of the following three conditions are present: 1) sporadic ovulation or anovulation; 2) ultrasound examination of both ovaries with polycystic changes and more than 12 follicles in each ovary; and 3) increased androgens. Based on these conditions, the diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome can be made.
