Does vaginal size affect intercourse?

The term “vaginal size” refers to the “length of the vagina”, which may have an effect on intercourse. The vagina has a certain degree of elasticity and stretch, and will adjust to the length of the penis during intercourse. Unless the penis is too long, it can usually accommodate the penis without discomfort during intercourse. However, some women are born with a short vagina, or have their vagina partially or completely removed due to factors such as total hysterectomy, vaginal cancer, or trauma, which can affect intercourse to a certain extent, such as the penis touching the opening of the uterus easily and causing discomfort or pain. Inability to fully insert the penis affects the experience of sexual intercourse or even prevents coitus, which can be improved by vaginal repair or reconstructive surgery. Patients with abnormal vaginal development should go to a regular hospital in time to find out the cause under the guidance of the doctor and get targeted treatment.
