Multi-origin premature beats means that there are multiple ectopic pacing sites. Premature beats refer to heart beats caused by premature impulses from ectopic pacing sites, and are the most common arrhythmia. They can occur on top of sinus or ectopic rhythms, can be episodic or frequent, and can occur irregularly or regularly after each or every number of normal beats to form dysthymic or coupled premature beats.
