What tests should be done for sliding bumps on both sides of the neck

If there are sliding bumps on both sides of the neck, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a local ultrasound to clarify whether it is a lymph node or a thyroid swelling. If it is a lymph node, a routine blood test is recommended to see if there is an increase or decrease in white blood cells to rule out a bacterial or viral infection and to guide the clinical use of medication. If a thyroid mass is suspected, commonly thyroid nodules, thyroid adenoma or even thyroid cancer, it is recommended that a blood test be performed to see if there is an increase or decrease in T3 or T4. If thyroid cancer is highly suspected, a local biopsy is necessary to confirm the diagnosis.
