Suddenly feeling dizzy for a few seconds all the time could be otoliths or it could be a seizure. Otoliths can occur at any age and is a form of peripheral vertigo. Patients may experience sudden dizziness, nausea, and vomiting, as well as visual rotation, deafness, and tinnitus, without balance disorders or ataxia. Most of the patients’ symptoms appear suddenly when the head position is rotated and last from a few seconds to a few minutes, and can stop suddenly or be repeated. If the symptoms are severe, symptomatic anti-dizziness treatment can be given at the same time, commonly used drugs are vertigo stop and pethidine. If a seizure is considered, it is considered to be an autonomic dysfunctional seizure. The patient may also have headache and abdominal pain at the same time, and may also have nausea and vomiting, etc. An EEG may help to diagnose the disease if necessary.
