Is third-degree celiac disease a disease?

Third-degree celiac disease is not a disease, but a normal physiological phenomenon, mainly occurring in women of childbearing age. At this time, the body’s estrogen secretion is exuberant, which causes the cervical columnar epithelium to move out, and makes the surface of the cervix appear red granular changes. If the area of this change accounts for more than 2/3 of the cervix, it is clinically known as third-degree cervical erosion. This physical phenomenon does not cause any discomfort, so no intervention or treatment is necessary. However, because the surface of the erosion is covered with a single layer of columnar epithelium, the resistance is relatively low, especially pay attention to sexual life and menstruation hygiene, to avoid the infection of pathogenic bacteria and cause chronic cervical inflammation. It is also recommended to have a gynecological examination every year, as well as screening for cervical cancer.
