Abdominal pain and diarrhea following ingestion of an unclean diet is a common manifestation of acute gastroenteritis and can be treated orally with an intestinal bacteriostatic agent, choosing gentamicin sulfate or an oral antimicrobial agent of the quinolone class, which can be administered orally with levofloxacin tablets. If the patient has significant diarrhea with symptoms of dehydration, he or she should receive intravenous fluids to supplement the basic daily requirement of glucose, vitamins, and trace elements. Patients with combined fever may also be treated with intravenous anti-infective therapy, along with monitoring changes in routine blood and biochemical markers. Diarrhea in the acute phase can easily lead to fluid loss shock in severe cases, so the patient should be hospitalized for treatment, or abdominal massage or hot compresses can be applied to improve the patient’s symptoms. The main thing is to control the diet, and in the acute phase a full liquid diet should be the mainstay.
