Generally speaking, if you can’t wear socks after four months of conservative or surgical treatment for femoral neck fracture, you should consider that it is caused by limitation of hip joint activities, which is caused by adhesion of muscle ligament and poor healing of femoral neck fracture. Functional training and surgical treatment can be used for targeted treatment. 1. Adhesion of muscle ligament: Due to the difficult healing of femoral neck fracture, no matter conservative treatment or internal fixation surgery, the bed time needs at least 8 weeks, so it is easy to cause adhesion of muscle ligament around the joint, we suggest that the patients gradually and moderately strengthen the muscle power of the lower limbs, and do the local squatting exercise, flexion, extension, internal and external rotation exercise under the guidance of the doctor, so as to gradually alleviate the adhesion of the muscle ligament. 2. Poor fracture healing: some patients may suffer from poor fracture healing, or even ischemic necrosis of the femoral head, which may cause pain in the hip or groin area, shortening of the limbs, stiffness of the hip joints and limitation of activities, and obvious limitation of the lower limbs’ internal and external rotation and adduction activities. The patient should cooperate with the doctor for active treatment and rehabilitation, and if necessary, surgical treatment should be considered and artificial hip replacement should be performed. Femoral neck fracture for 4 months, should be regular review, and under the guidance of the doctor actively carry out rehabilitation training. The appearance of discomfort symptoms should be timely medical treatment, to avoid delaying the condition.
