What is the new drug for soft tissue sarcoma

At present, the research of new drugs for the treatment of soft tissue sarcoma mainly focuses on targeted therapeutic drugs, which can be divided into two kinds, namely, small molecule compounds and monoclonal antibodies.

1. Small molecule compounds mainly include: imatinib, sunitinib, pazopanib, apatinib, and amilotinib, which are tyrosine kinase inhibitors, able to inhibit vascular proliferation in the tumor mass and inhibit tumor cell proliferation.

2. Monoclonal antibody drugs mainly include: bevacizumab and PD-1 antibody. Among them, bevacizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that binds vascular endothelial growth factor-α, which inhibits tumor angiogenesis by blocking the binding of vascular endothelial growth factor to its receptor, thus achieving the purpose of inhibiting tumor growth.

Some of the above drugs have been put into clinical use, but it is not recommended that patients buy and take them on their own to avoid serious consequences. They should be taken under the guidance of specialized doctors.
