Limb conduction hypovoltage is a state of diminished electrical signals in the body, caused primarily by a decrease in the amount of electrical current. It may be caused by physiologic, heart disease, systemic diseases, etc. 1. Physiological: Mostly seen in obese people, because of the thick fat leads to low voltage limb conduction. 2. Heart disease: Limb conduction low voltage caused by heart disease is common in various types of angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, pericarditis, myocardial cell injury, and so on. 3. Systemic diseases: For example, systemic malnutrition may cause the ability of the cells of the body to conduct electrical excitation to be weakened, resulting in the phenomenon of low voltage in limb conduction. Limb conduction hypotension may have different meanings, which need to be combined with the patient’s clinical symptoms and other relevant auxiliary examinations. It is recommended that patients should seek prompt medical attention and follow the doctor’s advice in order to avoid deterioration of the condition.
