Hypertension is a disease of persistently high blood pressure, which can cause stroke, heart disease, hemangioma, kidney failure and other diseases. Hypertension is a systemic disease characterized by elevated arterial pressure, which can be accompanied by functional or organic changes in organs such as the heart, blood vessels, brain and kidneys, and it is divided into primary and secondary hypertension. The causes of hypertension are many and can be divided into genetic and environmental aspects. Systolic blood pressure ≥139 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure ≥89 mmHg in the absence of antihypertensive medication classifies hypertension into grades 1, 2, and 3 according to blood pressure level. Systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure <90 mmHg were classified as simple systolic hypertension alone. Patients with a past history of hypertension and currently on anti-hypertensive medication should be diagnosed with hypertension even though their blood pressure is below 140/90 mmHg. Nowadays, there are only a few people who encounter hypertension, and many people are looking for a reasonable way to treat it. Why is that? And see the text! According to Chen, based on the main clinical manifestations of hypertension, such as headache and vertigo, palpitation and insomnia, numbness and tongue strength, hemianesthesia, distorted mouth and eyes, and hemiplegia, it can be classified under the category of vertigo, headache and stroke in Chinese medicine. The theoretical basis of treatment from the liver The Ling Shu - Hai Lun said, "If the marrow sea is insufficient, the brain turns to tinnitus." Su Wen - Zhi Zhen Yao Da Lun says: "All winds and dizziness belong to the liver." The Ling Shu - Meridians says: "Deficiency makes the head heavy and high." Therefore, it is believed that vertigo is related to the liver and kidney. The Tang dynasty doctor Sun Simiao pointed out in the "Thousand Gold Essentials" that "liver syncope headache, liver fire syncope, the upper hyperactive mind also", "its pain must reach the top, because the liver vein and the supervisory vein will be at the top also ...... liver syncope headache must be more vertigo ", that headache and vertigo are caused by liver fire syncope. Zhu Danxi in the Yuan Dynasty said in "Danxi Xinfa" that "head dizziness, phlegm clips Qi deficiency and fire, treating phlegm is the main reason, no phlegm does not dizziness, no fire does not dizziness", that phlegm and fire are another cause of dizziness. The relationship between emotional and moral factors and the development of hypertension According to Chinese medicine, hypertension is closely related to emotional and moral disorders, dietary disorders and internal injuries and deficiencies, among which emotional and moral disorders are the most important. Long-term excessive will, worry and anger, mental tension, liver qi stagnation, "qi is fire", liver depression for a long time into fire, then depleted liver yin, resulting in yin does not converge yang, liver yang hyperactivity, up to disturb the head and eyes, the development of hypertension; or because the liver and kidneys are the same source, essence and blood, liver fire can also burn the liver and kidney yin, the formation of liver and kidney yin deficiency, liver yang hyperactivity evidence. Hypertension mostly occurs and develops due to emotional disorders. Emotional disorders lead to liver qi stagnation and qi stagnation leads to blood stagnation. Clinical observation shows that the occurrence and changes of hypertension are influenced by emotional factors to varying degrees. Because the liver is the master of draining, regulate the qi, smooth the emotions, the normal function of liver draining, then the qi and blood flow without obstruction, blood pressure can be maintained normal. If the emotions are not regulated, the liver is not drained, and the qi is stagnant, stasis and blood will be generated internally; secondly, if the wood is depressed, the earth will be congested, and if the earth is congested, the pivotal mechanism will be lost, and the one that should rise will not rise, and the one that should fall will not fall, and phlegm and qi will be stagnant. As Zhang Xichen said in his book, "If liver qi does not rise, the qi of the first heaven cannot reach the liver, and if stomach qi does not descend, the food of the second heaven cannot be transferred down from the stomach." Chen Lao treats hypertension with the following three common types: ① hyperactivity of liver yang: dizziness and headache, red face and red eyes, irritability, dry mouth and bitterness, yellow urine and constipation, red tongue with yellow fur and stringent pulse; treatment is to calm the liver and subdue yang, to clear the liver and remove fire; representative formula is Tianma and Hooked Vine Drink; ② hyperactivity of yin deficiency and yang: dizziness and headache, tinnitus and blurred eyes, insomnia and dreaminess, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, five hearts and fever, red tongue with little fur and stringent pulse; treatment is to calm the liver and subdue yang, to clear the liver and remove fire; representative formula is Tianma and Hooked Vine Drink (3) Liver and kidney yin deficiency type: dizziness and tinnitus, dry eyes, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, irritable heat in the five hearts, short urine, dry stools, red tongue with little or no moss, thin or fine pulse; treatment is to nourish the liver and kidney; representative formula is Qiju Dihuang Wan plus reduction.
