After the appearance of herpes, vaxilovir, famciclovir, and acyclovir are given to treat the herpes virus. Currently, vaxilovir or famciclovir is given orally with good compliance, and topical povidone-iodine solution, iodophor solution, and penciclovir gel is given topically. Herpes zoster also needs to be treated with nerve-nourishing drugs, and for those with significant fever, attention is paid to whether the viral infection is causing encephalitis.
