What is the care and medication after endonasal endoscopic surgery for chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps

Post-nasal endoscopic surgery care for patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps mainly includes short-term care and long-term care, and the medication includes nasal hormones, pro-drainage agents, and nasal rinsing.
1. Postoperative care. Within 24 hours after nasal endoscopy, patients should spit out the secretion in time and avoid swallowing in order to observe the bleeding; patients’ temperature changes should be detected within 3 days after the operation, and they should avoid picking the operative cavity at will to prevent the emergence of postoperative infection. After 1 week of surgery, try to wear a mask when going out, regular diet and appropriate physical exercise.
2. Medication. Chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, postoperative medication is a long-term process, need to be 3 to 6 months, commonly used nasal hormones (such as budesonide nasal spray), pro-excretion agents (such as eucalyptus pinene), saline rinse nasal cavity, can promote the healing of the nasal mucosa after surgery.
