What’s wrong with sweating in the heat?

Sweating excessively in the heat of the day may be a normal physiological condition, or it may be caused by a deficiency of yin or qi.
When the day is hot, the heat dissipation is usually achieved through sweating, and sweating excessively when the day is hot is usually a normal phenomenon, and does not require special treatment.
When heat is coupled with yin deficiency, sweating may be particularly heavy, and may be accompanied by symptoms such as “five heart-heat” (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of heart and chest irritation (irritability and sultriness)), zygomatic redness (reddish color of cheeks and zygomatic bones), and night sweats (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and stopping of sweating after waking up), and so on.
When heat is combined with a deficiency of qi, there may be excessive sweating, which may be accompanied by symptoms such as weakness and dizziness.
If sweating is accompanied by other symptoms, it is recommended that the patient seek medical attention from a professional doctor.
