Qi deficiency is characterized by fatigue (mental exhaustion, physical weakness), shortness of breath, and lack of energy and laziness (lack of strength, not wanting to speak).
Blood deficiency is characterized by dizziness, white or yellowish color without luster, dry hair, dry skin, numbness of limbs or extremities, forgetfulness, insomnia and dreaminess.
Yin deficiency is characterized by flushed cheeks, dry throat, five heart-heat (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest), hot flashes, and night sweats (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up).
Yang deficiency is seen in pale or grayish-black color, fear of cold, low temperature of hands and feet, mental fatigue, swelling and other symptoms.
