Can hemangioma go away with eye drops?

The majority of hemangiomas treated with eye drops are infantile hemangiomas, which are strawberry-shaped hemangiomas. This type of hemangioma is treated with eye drops, mainly beta-blocker type eye drops, and most patients are treated well and most of the hemangiomas can be regressed. The eye drops used for this condition are usually beta-blocker eye drops such as propranolol or timolol. This can usually be used especially for more superficial and thinner hemangiomas that have less cosmetic impact. It has been documented that 92% of patients show significant color improvement after 6-9 months of continuous treatment, and 77% of patients show significant improvement in lesion size range as well as volume. Topical receptor blocker eye drops are more valued and beneficial for small hemangiomas because they do not cause significant cardiovascular adverse effects or other side effects requiring discontinuation of the drug.
