How to Rehabilitate Achilles Tendon Stops

Rehabilitation of Achilles tendonitis can be divided into two phases: acute phase and chronic phase.
1. Acute stage: the acute stage of Achilles tendonitis is the active inflammation period, pain is obvious, should avoid strenuous exercise, and take proper rest. Ultrasonic physiotherapy, elevation of the affected limb, taping and other rehabilitation methods can be carried out to promote the absorption of inflammation and relieve symptoms.
2. Chronic stage: In the chronic stage of Achilles tendonitis, appropriate sports rehabilitation training can be carried out to promote the functional recovery of the lower limbs. It mainly includes soft tissue relaxation, lower limb strength training, stability training, functional training and so on.
(1) Soft tissue relaxation: manipulative massage or the use of foam shaft and other relaxation tools can be used to relax the calf muscles and foot muscles.
(2) Lower limb strength training: mainly for the gluteal muscles, calf triceps and other lower limb muscle groups for training. Single leg hip bridge, straight leg and bent leg heel lift can be used.
(3) Stability training: the training can be carried out on unstable planes such as balance cushions, from eyes open to eyes closed, single-leg standing maintenance and arm swing training.
(4) Functional training: mainly for jumping training. Different ways of jumping training, such as double-leg, single-leg, alternating, etc., can be carried out so that patients can learn to cushion the landing.
It is recommended that patients with Achilles tendonitis should consult a doctor in time, and carry out scientific rehabilitation training under the correct guidance of professional doctors and therapists to avoid adverse consequences.
