Allergic rhinitis, or allergic rhinitis, is a non-infectious inflammatory disease of the nasal mucosa mediated mainly by IgE-mediated release of mediators (mainly histamine) after exposure to allergens and involving a variety of immunoreactive cells and cytokines. It is characterized by nasal itching, sneezing, nasal hypersecretion, and swelling of the nasal mucosa. It affects patients’ daily life, study and work efficiency, and causes a heavy economic burden. Spring is the high incidence of this disease, and our department adopts pterygopalatine ganglion modulation to treat allergic rhinitis with good effect.
