What to watch out for in glaucoma patients

1, it is important not only to lower the eye pressure, face and improve microcirculation, improve the blood supply to the eye. Therefore it is beneficial to consume more foods rich in antioxidants such as vitamins A, B, C and E. They are able to maintain the normal metabolic process. Vegetables, fruits, coarse grains, vegetable oils are rich in vitamins. 2.Don’t be impatient emotionally! Be optimistic about the bad things in life and don’t let it affect your mood. Emotional agitation can cause an increase in arterial blood pressure, which leads to an increase in intraocular pressure. 3, more activity. If your job is sitting all day, you should go for a walk outside an hour before work and an hour after work, because lack of oxygen can cause damage to blood vessels. Glaucoma is a manifestation of abnormal blood vessels. 4, spare time to socialize with friends, more walks, which is better than sitting at home watching TV until late at night. Watch a good movie for a maximum of 1, 5 hours. Watch TV in the evening, no more than 3 hours at most. 5. Turn on the headlights when watching TV. Watching TV in the dark, the pupils will dilate and eye lubrication will be reduced. 6, 24 hours a day intake of 1 to 1, 5 liters of water is enough. Drinking too much water can lead to edema and cause an increase in arterial blood pressure. Do not eat food that is easy to thirst. Try to avoid drinking strong coffee and tea. Alcohol should never be consumed in excess, otherwise it will cause irritation to the blood vessels. 7. Diet structure is very important. Meat food is best with boiled beef. Side dishes can use cabbage. Other vegetables are quite good: boiled beets, fresh or boiled carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, plus finely chopped celery, fennel and a little vegetable oil. Eat only hard-boiled eggs, up to 3 per week. 8. Do not do heavy physical work. Do not overexert yourself because your blood vessels are inherently fragile. Just one tiny blood vessel rupture can lead to blindness. Try to avoid constipation. Don’t do things with your head down, blood rushing up to your head is harmful to glaucoma patients.
