Kidney cancer with bone metastasis is considered stage IV kidney cancer, that is, advanced stage. In this case, the specific site of bone metastasis and the control of the primary site of kidney cancer also affect the survival period. The general survival period may be 1-2 years. There are also cases with relatively good treatment effect and survival more than 2-3 years or even 5 years. Each patient’s situation is different, so we can only see it while treating. Kidney cancer with bone metastasis can also be considered for nephrectomy if there is no metastasis from other important organs, usually unilateral radical kidney cancer surgery. After surgery, biological immunotherapy, including the application of biological immunotherapy such as interferon or interleukin-2 or oral targeted drugs, sorafenib and sunitinib are also effective. For bone metastases, care should be taken to prevent pathological fractures, and zoledronic acid should be applied regularly every month, as well as local radiotherapy for pain relief.
