White radish for migraine

Take one white radish, wash and shred it, wrap it in clean gauze and squeeze out about 20 ml of juice. If you have left-sided migraine, put the juice of the radish into the right nostril in several drops; if you have right-sided migraine, put it into the left nostril. Use it twice a day for 4 to 5 days to see the effect. It is written in the Materia Medica: “Wang Jinggong suffers from migraine, pounding lycopodium juice, lying on his back, injecting the right nose for left pain and the left nose for right pain, or both noses together, for decades, but healed with two injections.” The lycopodium juice mentioned is the juice of white radish. Chinese medicine believes that white radish juice is pungent and sweet, cool in nature, and has a certain effect in treating migraine headaches caused by nasal congestion or sinusitis, as well as external wind and cold. In Western medicine, migraine is called “vascular headache”, but in Chinese medicine, “if it doesn’t pass, it hurts”. White radish juice contains natural mustard oil, which is quickly absorbed into the nasal cavity through the nasal mucous membrane, thus relieving migraine. Patients should pay attention to hygiene when taking the juice to prevent the occurrence of nasal and sinus infections caused by contamination of the radish juice. In addition, white radish peel can also be applied to the temples, which also has a certain therapeutic effect. If the treatment effect is not obvious, it is best to go to the hospital to identify the cause and carry out targeted treatment.
