Do women have laryngeal nodes?

Women also have a laryngeal node, but it is not as pronounced as in men. The structure of the neck is the same in both males and females, with the two thyroid cartilage plates meeting to form the laryngeal node, the only difference being the angle at which they meet. The only difference is that the angle of convergence is different. In males, the angle of convergence is acute, which makes it more obvious; in females, the angle is obtuse, which makes it less obvious. Therefore, women also have a laryngeal node, but it is not as pronounced as the male laryngeal node. If a woman’s laryngeal knot is more obvious, it may be due to the wider thyroid cartilage plate, less fat in the neck, or more androgen secretion in the body, if there are no other uncomfortable symptoms, no treatment is needed. If these conditions are ruled out, a thyroid test is needed to diagnose thyroid disease. If women have obvious symptoms of abnormal laryngeal nodes, they should go to a regular hospital in time to find out the cause and treat it under the guidance of a doctor.
