What’s wrong with kids with chills?

Coldness in children is related to physiological factors such as failure to keep warm and low ambient temperatures, and may also be related to anemia, low blood pressure, hypothyroidism, and so on.
1. Physiological factors: children do not pay attention to their own warmth, low ambient temperature, mental overstress, etc., may cause the phenomenon of cold body.
2. Anemia: anemia can be caused by decreased production of red blood cells, excessive destruction of red blood cells, and excessive loss of red blood cells. Diseases can cause small children to appear pale skin and mucous membranes, growth retardation, loss of appetite, poor concentration and other symptoms, and some children will be due to poor blood circulation and the phenomenon of cold.
3. Low blood pressure: If a child has low blood pressure, it may induce chills because of poor peripheral blood circulation, the body does not get enough oxygen and energy. Low blood pressure is related to physiological factors such as change of body position and emotional excitement, as well as pathologic factors such as chronic wasting disease and endocrine metabolic disease, and it is easy to be accompanied by fatigue, headache and other symptoms.
4. Hypothyroidism: If a child suffers from hypothyroidism, the lack of secretion of the thyroid gland may lead to slower blood circulation and reduced heat production, thus causing chills. The disease is associated with autoimmune damage and destruction of the thyroid gland, and common symptoms include easy fatigue, little sweat, slow reaction, facial swelling, and growth retardation.
Children may also have other causes of chills, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, under the guidance of the doctor to give targeted treatment or treatment.
