In addition to poor memory, some patients with dementia may also have mental behavioral symptoms, such as not sleeping at night, tossing and turning, and even noisy, affecting the rest of the family; and in severe cases, they may also have hallucinations and delusions. Therefore, we mainly treat patients with dementia for the above two symptoms. Taking some drugs to improve cognition can’t improve memory, but it can slow down the development of dementia; while for mental behavioral symptoms, it can be significantly improved through a period of treatment.
