Knee valgus belongs to the lower limb deformity, mild can be corrected by support or plaster, or functional exercise, severe may need surgery to correct, functional exercise methods are ankle pump training, straight leg elevation training, squatting against the wall training.
1. Ankle pump training: lie on your back on the bed, put your legs flat, 90 degrees between your feet and the bed, hook your toes in the direction of your body, hold it for 10-15 seconds, then press your toes in the opposite direction of your body, hold it for another 10-15 seconds, repeat the exercise.
2. Straight leg raising training: lie on your back on the bed, straighten your legs, 90 degrees to the palms of your feet and the bed, tense the muscles of your thighs, raise the leg of the affected side slowly and uniformly for about 30cm, stay at the highest point for 3 seconds, and then slowly lower it.
3. Squatting against the wall: you need to separate your feet, stand naturally, toes forward, shoulder-width apart, lean against the wall with your upper body straight, bend your knees and squat, and keep it for a period of time before returning to upright.
