What to do if you are born without a vagina

Congenital absence of vagina is a congenital disease with a high incidence, which some patients are ashamed to present due to privacy issues and remain untreated for a long time. It is recommended to perform surgical treatment, i.e. vaginal reconstruction, for the sake of normal conjugal life after marriage. Specific treatments include gradual deepening of the vaginal stump, crypts, implantation of skin or mucous membranes, as well as the more respected method of replacing the vagina with one’s own colon, through which the reconstructed vagina is usually more in line with physiological state, with the presence of moist environment and ducts, and the body is mostly free of scarring.
