Scabies health education

  Scabies is transmitted by the human type scabies mite through close contact. It is highly contagious and is often transmitted to each other in a family or a group dormitory. Scabies can live 2-3 days after leaving the human body, so it can be indirectly transmitted by using the clothes, bedding, shoes and socks, hats, and pillowcases used by the patient.  There are two kinds of pathogenic effects of scabies mites: one is the mechanical damage caused by tunneling in the cuticle of the skin; the other is the itchy skin stimulated by the toxin secreted by scabies mites. The scabies mite likes to invade the finger crevices, wrist flexure, elbow fossa, pubic area, groin, inner thigh, lower abdomen, anterior axillary margin, periumbilical area, buttocks, and under the female breast. The head, face, palm and plantar areas are generally not invaded.  The damage is pinhead-sized papules and papules or small blisters, scattered distribution, especially in the finger crevices, often see very shallow linear runner rash, about 1 cm long, grayish white or light black, which is the tunnel dug by the scabies mite, at the top of the tunnel there is a pinhead large grayish white or slightly red dots, is where the scabies mite stays, female insects are mostly hidden here, can be picked out with a needle, which is a symptom unique to scabies. Patients have intense itching, especially at night.  There are still some patients in the scrotum, penis skin to form a soybean large to peanut rice large maroon nodules, with intense itching, scabies cure, nodules can still be long.
