There are a few tumor markers that are relatively specific to women. 1. CA125, or glycoantigen 125, may be more elevated in ovarian tumors and germ cell tumors in women. 2. CA15-3, or glycoantigen 15-3, may be more elevated in breast tumors in women. 3. These four tumor markers are generally called the four female tumor markers, but of course, they may be different in different testing institutions. The tumor markers are only for reference, and one cannot judge whether or not a tumor is malignant or what kind of malignant tumor it is based on the tumor marker test results alone. Generally, the diagnosis of malignant tumor must be confirmed by imaging examination to find the mass, or endoscopy to find the lesion, and then further pathology.
