There are three types of cases that do not require rabies vaccination: first-degree exposure to rabies, those who have received rabies vaccination within the last three months, and those who have sufficient antibodies in their bodies. 1. Rabies first-degree exposure: rabies can be divided into three levels according to the exposure grading, first-degree exposure refers to the intact skin being licked by pets, or intact skin contact with pet body fluids, etc. For first-degree exposure, no rabies vaccine is needed. For the first level of exposure, rabies vaccination is not required and there is no risk of rabies infection, only skin cleaning is needed. 2. Those who have been injected with rabies vaccine in the past three months: when the human body has been injected with five shots of rabies vaccine in the past three months, the pet scratches and bites during this period may not need to be injected with rabies vaccine again, because there are sufficient antibodies in the body. 3. Tested body has sufficient antibodies: If the body has sufficient antibodies, there is no need to inject rabies vaccine. Don’t be paralyzed after being scratched or bitten by a pet, because rabies is almost 100% fatal. You need to go to the hospital and be treated by a doctor according to your condition, and you should not use medication randomly.
