Most novel coronaviruses are of low to moderate fever and may have as their first symptoms fever, malaise, dry cough, and in a few cases, nasal congestion, runny nose, diarrhea, and muscle aches. Patients with critical illness of novel coronavirus may have predominantly low fever or even no fever. The symptoms of novel coronavirus are not unique, but may be predominantly symptoms of other systems, such as chest tightness and palpitations in the cardiovascular system, dizziness and headache in the nervous system, and diarrhea and abdominal pain in the digestive system.
