What is the difference between breastfeeding and formula feeding

The difference between breastfeeding and formula feeding is the difference in nutrition, digestion and absorption, and immunity.
1. Nutritional differences
Breastmilk is the most suitable food for newborns, and it is also the food that the newborn’s stomach and intestines can adapt to absorb. Compared with formula milk, breastmilk has the right proportion of amino acids; lactose content is rich; unsaturated fatty acids are more; and the ratio of calcium and phosphorus is appropriate.
2. Different digestion and absorption
Breastmilk is more easily absorbed than milk powder and is more conducive to the establishment of normal intestinal flora. Breastfeeding temperature is appropriate, clean and hygienic, reducing the occurrence of gastrointestinal diseases. The milk powder relative to newborns will be more difficult to digest a little bit, the nutrients in the milk powder is only close to breast milk, and breast milk is still there are differences in the milk powder fed babies, more prone to indigestion.
3. Different immunity
Breast milk contains irreplaceable immune components, because it is rich in immunoglobulins, when the baby intake of breast milk, can improve the baby’s body immunity. The relative immunity of formula-fed children is generally poorer.
It is recommended to breastfeed your baby as much as possible, if there is a special reason, you can choose a special formula for infants and young children under the advice of the doctor.
