Patients with membranous nephropathy can eat vinegar in moderation. As a common condiment, vinegar can be eaten in moderation by patients with membranous nephropathy, especially when the diet of patients with membranous nephropathy requires low-salt, low-fat, high-quality and low-protein diets, at which time the food tends to taste worse, and the patients can use this condiment to improve their appetite. However, vinegar has no therapeutic effect on membranous nephropathy and cannot replace medication. Vinegar needs to be taken separately from medication. The treatment of membranous nephropathy requires the application of glucocorticosteroids (prednisone acetate) and other immunosuppressants (cyclophosphamide, tacrolimus), which may be denatured in an acidic environment or reduce the effect of the drug, so vinegar needs to be taken separately from the medication, with an interval of more than two hours. Membranous nephropathy patients are advised to go to regular hospitals in time and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of physicians.
