(I) On the day of surgery After anesthesia subsides, start to move the toes and ankle joint; if pain is not obvious, try to contract the quadriceps muscle, i.e., tensing and relaxing the anterior thigh muscles. (ii) 1 day after surgery 1, ankle pump (anterior and posterior calf muscle group exercises) – forceful, slow, full range flexion and extension of the ankle joint, 20 times/group, 5 groups/day. 2, Quadriceps isometric exercises – that is, thigh muscle tensing and relaxation. It should be done as much as possible without increasing pain. (C) 2 days after surgery Ankle pump: same as before. Quadriceps isometric exercises (anterior thigh muscle strength exercises) – tensing and holding for 5 seconds, relaxing for 2 seconds as one time, 100 repetitions per set, 3-5 sets/day. N rope muscle isometric exercises (posterior thigh muscle exercises)-pillow under the affected leg, heel force downward pressure on the air cushion, hold for 5 seconds, relax for 2 seconds as a group, 300 groups / day. Straight Leg Raise – Extend the knee with maximum force, raise the leg straight to 30 degrees of hip flexion, and hold it to the limit. If the pain is obvious, you can pause. Note: Practice alternating bilateral exercises for better results. (D) After 3 days after surgery, continue the above exercises, increase the intensity and frequency. Begin to sit beside the bed with the knee flexed, practice joint mobility, and gradually increase the number of times (5 times/day); begin to walk on the ground with the help of crutches and gradually increase the amount, and at the same time strengthen the quadriceps training. Attachment: the affected limb can be elevated on an air cushion between exercises (air cushion placed slightly below the mid-calf): 1 for the wound swelling 2 for the practice of knee straightening.
