Does rheumatoid arthritis cause weakness and tenderness in the legs?

Rheumatoid arthritis may present with weakness and tenderness in the legs.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, predominantly inflammatory synovitis systemic disease of undetermined etiology. It is characterized by polyarticular, symmetric, aggressive joint inflammation of the small joints of the hands and feet, often accompanied by extra-articular organ involvement and positive serum rheumatoid factor, which can lead to joint deformity and loss of function. It may be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fatigue and weight loss.
Patients with rheumatoid arthritis may experience weakness of the legs when there is obvious joint swelling and pain. Weakness of the legs may also occur when the patient experiences generalized symptoms such as general malaise, loss of appetite, fatigue and weakness.
If rheumatoid arthritis is diagnosed, it should be treated by a doctor in time, and should not take medication without authorization, so as not to delay the condition. Pay attention to rest on weekdays, quit smoking and drinking, maintain regular work and rest, and avoid overwork.
