How should I recognize a stroke?

  Stroke recognition Medical professionals should be aware of the common symptoms of stroke, and the public should also be aware of the common presentations of stroke. Common symptoms of stroke: (1) Sudden onset of symptoms.  (2) Weakness, clumsiness, heaviness, or numbness in one limb (with or without the face).  (3) One side of the face is numb or the corners of the mouth are crooked. (4) Slurred speech or difficulty in understanding language.  (5) Gaze of both eyes to one side.  (6) Loss or blurring of vision in one or both eyes.  (7) Rotation of vision or balance disorder.  (8) Severe headache and vomiting, which were previously rare.  (9) The above symptoms with impaired consciousness or convulsions.  Recommendations: (1) When a person with stroke risk factors (e.g. hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, etc.) suddenly presents with the above symptoms, a stroke is highly suspected and should be taken to a hospital immediately.  (2) Those who suddenly appear confused or comatose should also be aware of the possibility of stroke and be taken to the hospital immediately.
