It should be noted that if the patient is diagnosed with colitis, it is recommended to go to a regular medical institution for treatment immediately, and the above medicines should be used under the guidance of a doctor to avoid delaying the condition. 1. Ku Ben Yi Bowel Tablet is composed of Radix Codonopsis, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Radix Bupleurum Chinense and Rhizoma Coptidis Macrocephalae. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen, warming the kidney, astringing the intestines and stopping diarrhea. It is used for diarrhea caused by Yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney, with symptoms such as lingering abdominal pain (persistent mild abdominal pain), scanty stools or mucus, scanty food and abdominal distension, lumbar soreness and fatigue, cold limbs, pale tongue with white coating, and weak pulse, etc. This formula is not suitable for dysentery with damp-heat. Damp-heat dysentery is not suitable for this formula.
