What is a speckled hyperdense shadow in the lungs?

A speckled hyperdense lung shadow is a sign of imaging of the lungs. The main consideration is small nodular calcified spots. It may be due to calcification of the lesion after treatment or cure of previous tuberculosis, or it may be due to a previous bacterial or viral infection, which may result in small nodules or inflammatory calcifications. Consideration should also be given to the possible presence of some benign lung tumors, including lung stones. If necessary, bronchial fiberoptic endoscopy and biopsy for pathological examination are also required to rule out the possible presence of other occupying lesions, such as lung tumors and malignant tumors.
