The presence of patchy shadows in the lungs generally refers to signs of inflammation in the lungs. In addition to the patchy shadow, there will be physical manifestations such as coughing, coughing up sputum, fever, weakness or suffocating shortness of breath, which often require anti-inflammatory treatment. First, the patient should be given a routine blood test to see if there is an elevated white blood cell count in the routine blood. If there is an elevation, it indicates a bacterial infection causing the lung plaque shadow, and the patient needs to be given antibiotics for treatment. The most commonly used antibiotics are penicillin or cephalosporin. If the lung plaque is caused by a viral infection, antiviral medication is required. It may also be caused by mycoplasma infection, which requires treatment with macrolide antibiotics such as azithromycin or roxithromycin.
