How to treat bile duct cancer?

Today an old man came to me with a film to ask me, my subject has yellow eyes, white stool and yellow urine, a film was done, bile duct dilatation, is it not bile duct cancer, how to treat it well ah. The common manifestations of cholangiocarcinoma are yellowing of skin and mucous membranes without pain, white stool and yellow urine; Ct or mri reveals a bile duct mass with bile duct dilatation above it. When it comes to the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma, it actually has a lot to do with its location. At present, we divide bile duct cancer into hilar bile duct cancer and common bile duct cancer. Depending on the relationship between the tumor and the left and right hepatic ducts and the common hepatic duct, local resection, bile duct jejunostomy, or additional hepatectomy, hepatic partial resection around the hepatic portal, bile duct jejunostomy, etc. are used. If the cholangiocarcinoma is located in the upper section, it can be partially resected. If the patient’s general condition is too poor to tolerate surgery, an internal bile duct drainage tube can be placed through puncture or a stent tube can be placed through ERCP to dilate the narrowed bile duct to relieve jaundice and improve symptoms. Combined with hepatoprotective drugs, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the treatment is comprehensive. Bile duct cancer is a cancer with a relatively good prognosis, better than pancreatic cancer and other diseases that commonly cause jaundice. It should be treated actively if your body allows.
