Treatment of adenoid hypertrophy

Conservative treatment: pay attention to nutrition, prevent colds and flu, improve the immunity of the body, and actively treat the original disease. Some children often have rhinitis, sinusitis and otitis media. After proper treatment, nasal ventilation improves and clinical symptoms can be reduced. Surgical treatment: Combined with recurrent sinusitis and otitis media, conservative treatment is ineffective, and surgery should be performed as early as possible. Children with nocturnal hypoxia and sleep apnea confirmed by sleep monitoring should be treated surgically as early as possible to avoid complications. Non-invasive ventilation treatment: A small number of children still have snoring and hypoxia after surgery because of obesity, posterior tongue root or small jaw, etc. Non-invasive ventilation (i.e. ventilator) treatment should be performed when necessary. Parents can register at the nurse’s desk and a nurse will notify them when a bed is available. If your child’s condition worsens during the waiting period, you can contact me by phone to learn more about the condition, and if your child’s condition is very serious, we will try to arrange surgery in advance.
