In Wen Bile Tang, Semixia can dissolve phlegm and stop vomiting, Bamboo Ru can harmonize the stomach and stop vomiting, Chen Pi can regulate qi and dissolve phlegm, Citrus aurantium can move qi, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae can regulate the medicinal properties, and Poria can invigorate the spleen and dispel dampness. Together, the formula can resolve phlegm, regulate qi, clear the gallbladder and harmonize the stomach. It can be used to treat diseases such as fear, panic, insomnia, palpitation, vomiting, epilepsy, etc. caused by bile-stomach disharmony and internal disturbance of phlegm-heat.
