The clavicle is an important bony anatomical landmark of the body, divided into left and right sides. The clavicle contains mainly the subclavian artery, vein, brachial plexus nerve, the subclavian artery and vein accompanying the clavicle, and the pulmonary apex. For example, subclavian vein puncture is usually performed with the clavicle as the marker, and the tip of the lung should be avoided during the operation. This area is divided into the supraclavicular fossa and the subclavicular fossa, where lymph nodes are widely distributed and to which many diseases can metastasize. Gastric cancer can metastasize to the left supraclavicular fossa lymph node.
